My Travels

Hummingbird teaches us to go beyond time and to see what happened in the past and what may happen in the future is not nearly as important as what is occurring now.  Remember to hover in the moment.  11"x14" Watercolor on Aquabord.

Bathing Beauty

"Bathing Beauty". Hummingbirds like to fly through water and afterwards preen themselves on a tree limb. Then they might very well decide they need another bath.  11"x14" Watercolor on Aquabord.

Harvest Time II

9"x12" Watercolor on Aquabord.
The colorful House Finches are abundant over much
of North America.  They have cheery chirps and some
pairs stay together year round.  They feed on seeds,
buds, berries and sometimes on small insects.

Midsummer Night Dreams

Watercolor on 16"x20" Aquabord Cradled Panel.
The hummingbird might dream of the fragrant cereus cactus flower but, unfortunately for them, they feed during daylight hours and the cereus (moonflower) is a night blooming plant.
