West Cornwall Covered Bridge - NFS

Violet Tailed Sylph

The Violet Tailed Sylph is a hummingbird who lives in tropical mountain forests with cloud cover in the western slope of the Andes in Ecuador & Columbia.
The males with larger tails appear to be dominant over the short tailed males. The male is 7" in length.

Bog Copper male - NFS

A North American butterfly which spends his lifetime in a single acid cranberry bog.  They are 7/8" to 1" and are hard to catch because of their habitat.  But if you sit quietly for a while, they might light on your shoulder.
